Sheltered water for learning
Lefkada's east coast faces small islands and enclosed bays, so the sea here is usually friendlier for learning than open water. Students can practise mooring, manoeuvres and sailing with confidence, and build up gradually to more demanding conditions.
Short distances, many destinations
A few hours under sail take you to neighbouring islands, sea caves and beaches you can only reach by boat. Each day of the course is both navigation and passage-planning practice and a new place to discover.
Learning and a holiday in one
The skipper course in Lefkada combines 5 hours of theory with 5 days of practice aboard modern, fully equipped yachts, with experienced instructors beside you all the way. On completion you receive an international skipper certificate that lets you hire yachts around the world.
